Notes
Alex B met thirty eight members about their demonstration group garden project. Together with them they discussed how they will weed, care, harvest, store and sale their soybeans. Hadija one of the members reported as they have started weeding their garden of peas though it is not done. She also said the fast spraying was done as members contributed money for pesticides. Saul suggested that members should all turn up when they are call to go and work on their garden. He also said since it a demonstration garden for them, they learn together bas they share ideas. Alex B advised them to have love for their garden. He asked them to bear in mind as the project is a learning garden for the group members and the community. The preparation for harvest, was necessary for them to start thinking of how they will make it.The members are are responsible for all to participate because it will help them to know how much will be harvested. The issue of how and where to store, all the members should agree on to avoid speculations. He also suggested to them to think of how each member and the group will benefit out the garden project. The selling should not be decided by only by the leaders. He suggested to them all the members should be updated how and when will be done. The members should discuss what is going to done out of the money that will be sold. He also suggested to the leaders to always to consult the members for approval. Alice the treasury for group thanked the members for turning up for the meeting. She asked them to continue responding whoever they are called to labour in their garden.
