Village Notes
David and Steven went to nabituluntu to carry out the first baseline survey. They found a great challenge in the many homes they managed to reach out to whereby, most of them were not having hand washing facilities.David kept encouraging the members he came across to have the hand washing facility. They also have a problem with their cooking as they are still using the three stones for their cooking yet they have few trees in their area most of the trees were being cut for charcoal which were used for cooking.David also advised them to plant more trees for good environmental conservations and cooking reasons. They were asked by Kibo staff ,what was the stand of their borehole account and they had 400000shillings cash as their account balance. Kibo staff encouraged them to continue contributing for the future sustainability of their borehole. In general according to the baseline survey carried out by Kibo staff the members have worked and maintained the required hygiene standards of their home facilities hence no cases of open defecation .
