Notes
Manuela went to Bukudumira village to mobilize community members about Life Skills program, mobilizing community members earlier about the new program give community members rooms to think about what what they will be learning on that day. When Manuela reached the village, she found the LC1 and the VHT ready waiting for her so that they can start moving home to home informing people about Life Skills and also encouraging them to come for the introduction of this program on coming week. While Manuela was mobilizing members, she met many people and they where asking her about Life Skills program and Manuela hard to explain for some them, bout others she would tell them that she will explain everything on that day , as she was mobilizing people, she was also monitoring some of the home facilities since the water hygiene and sanitation program also worked in that community, so it was good to also check on that for example like good latrine, good dry rack , clean compound and also the kitchen and stoves, Manuela have identified some of the facilities still in good standard and others are depreciating but Manuela encouraged them to continue taking good care of their home facilities. Manuela also found some children at home yet they are suppose to be in school, she would ask the kids why they are not in school they told her that they were chased because of some balance of school dues, Manuela also asked the parents why their children are at home yet they are suppose to be at school...... they told her that money but they are working hard to see that they send back to school. Finally, Manuela told the chairman to continue reminding members so that they don’t forget coming on that day.

Next Visit: 2019-06-28 - Purpose: To introduce Life Skills program officially in that community and also teach about facts and myths about HIV/ AIDS.
