Village Notes
There is a family that lied to one family that there are jobs in Oman and they gave their daughter to go and work. Unfortunately, things didn't work out well and she fell sick to an extent of being dumb. Even couldn't afford transport back home. The family reported the issue to the community. The community members decided to help their neighbor and contributed some money to help the girl come back home. They raised the money and the girl is home now but doesn't talk. Ida requested to be taken where the girl was but they said she was taken for treatment. Ida asked which hospital and they said in Kampala.

Bible Lesson Five: God’s forgiveness
Notes
Ida went to Naibowa and taught about God's forgiveness. She used a story of the "in forgiving servant. Ida told a story in a live way using the names of the community members as characters in the story. She first asked them to give names of the characters and explained to them that they were just going to make a simple drama to help us see the story clearly. They gave the name of a King, the servants, the prison and the palace. Ida picked her bible from the bag and requested Kalembe Rose to read from Mathew 18:21-35. Here was a king (Bulukani) who had many servants in the palace, one of the servants(Henry Walyenge) had a debt that he couldn't pay back. The king(Bulukani) called Walyenge and told him how he was going to take his wife, children and every thing he had because he failed to pay back. The servant( Walyenge) begged the King for forgiveness and He granted him . The king forgave him completely every thing and the servant went back home rejoicing! But on his way, he found his fellow servant going somewhere, Walyenge (servant) asked his friend to pay him the money he loaned him. The second servant (Tadeo) begged for forgiveness but Walyenge refused completely to sympathize with him and took him to prison. When the King heard of this, he was disappointed and called the servant he had forgiven before and put him to jail with all he had. We must forgive as we are forgiven. After the story, Lydia Kantono raised her hand and asked to share something. She was permitted and started her story. She had a neighbor who had goats and pigs, the neighbors pigs came and ate almost all the potato garden, she took the pigs to the chairperson and they had talks. The owner of the pigs asked for forgiveness but this woman refused. She asked the man to pay her one hundred thousand shillings for compensation. The owner of the pigs had to sell his pigs and goats to pay. After one year, this woman's son was caught stealing water melon from the man's garden and was taken to police. She feared to ask the neighbor to forgive his son because she too refused to forgive him when the pigs feasted in her garden. But interestingly, this man forgave her son and the woman was scared. She went and thanked her neighbor for the good heart he showed her and her son. This woman now tells people how important forgiveness is. She ended up giving the man a She goat that has two kids now and talked to her son never to steal again but work hard as Kibo teaches.
