Notes
Irene went to Budumba to continue with nutrition and basically to discuss about the different kinds or types of malnutrition,Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then with that asked the members to mention the different types that they’ve ever heard. Otim gave types relating to some of the signs and symptoms observed in people with malnutrition and on addition Irene categorized them into kwashiorkor and scurvy that she explained in details and common in children below 5years and elderly who follow a limited diet. With detailed explanation on kwashiorkor and scurvy Irene encouraged the community members to ask questions about the lesson and also encouraged them to mobilize more members to come for the lesson.
