- Irene and Ida went to sinde to teach about malaria causes,spread and symptoms. Ida started with a review of the previous lesson then invited Irene to continue with the lesson. Irene thanked the members for the voluntary participation and encouraged them to put what they learn in practice, then asked the members the cause of malaria. Ouma said it’s caused by a mosquito,Nafula said it’s caused by drinking unboiled water and eating a lot of mango fruits. Irene clarified on that and said it’s caused by a plasmodium parasite and spread by a mosquito as she explained more. Irene also discussed the symptoms on addition to what the members had given then asked the members to ask questions after the discussion. At the end of the lesson the members thanked Irene for the lesson and letting them know the exact cause and spread of malaria .
