- This meeting was about to remind the water committee about their roles and responsibilities and check on the water user committtee status. The chairperson water user committee, Namulondo was happy that this meeting came at the right time because some of the committee members had become some how inactive. They reviewed their roles and responsibilities and re told to have the borehole bylaws work to help take good care of their well. The borehole fence will need to replaced because it had become old and falling apart. The village is contributing poles to build a new fence soon. Alex told the committee if they can have a village meeting of all the water users to have a discussion of building a concrete fence since the village decries that they have no poles to build the fence. It was an idea that the water user committee welcomed and promised to tell it to all the community and probably contribute money to build a new fence. The borehole account is active with a balance of 230,000sh having used some money to fix the borehole with new bearings recently. Alex encouraged the committee to be active at all times and make sure the borehole bylaws work.
