Notes
Tom and Steven went to the village to give out jericans to those residents who qualified by constructing a good usable hand washing stand. Tom and Steven painted the kibo logo on the jericans before they were distributed. Tom reminded the residents about the value of ha d washing as well how to promote it it in there homes. Tom also emphasized the value of the jerican as its not meant to be used for other home duties. Tom also reminded the residents about the value of planting trees in relation to sanitation and hygiene where residents accepted that they should plant trees. Tom also discussed with the residents about exploring the possibility of building a concrete wall as the borehole fence and most of the residents loved the idea and offered support to the chairman and his committee. Tom encouraged them to always be working to develop there villages as the wall will save them conflicts and other challenges related to borehole fences. After distributing the jericans, Tom and Steven left for jinja.
