David was in Bupaluka.His intention of going there was to encourage the community members to contribute money towards the buying of their borehole cylinder. They did so because the inside surface of the cylinder which they were using was worn out . Therefore it wouldn’t allow the smooth movements of the valve inside the cylinder,the end result of it all it would not allow enough water to flow out of the borehole.However when David was in the village he met with the water user committee members . He encouraged them to contribute money to buy the new borehole cylinder . The committee members promised David that in four days they would have finished contributing for the money they needed to buy the new cylinder. David agreed with their request because they had a half way of the money. The Kibo staff also advised them not to take so long to avoid the damaging of the other parts like the foot valve . Later David moved in about 24 homes .But out of the homes they moved to while encouraging about sanitation facility improvements and maintenances only 5 homes needed improvements. However the owners were reminded of improving on their sanitation standards. David left the village when the committee members had promised to call the Kibo when they had topped up the remaining balance for buying the new cylinder .
