Notes
David and Steven were in the village after they had given out the iron sheets to the members. They had gone to monitor and see if the community members had roofed their latrines . However because there was one of the members on the sanitation committee who had lost his son on the same village. For that reason it had caused a set back to the speed they were supposed to work at. Therefore the committee members decided to resume their normal work after 7days. Later they changed their approach for that day to visit some homes which were still lagging behind. They visited jabbu,s home , jabbu had been the most difficult and complicated member to get to work and have latrine in his home. David and Steven were happy to see that he had started working on his pit latrine about 5feet deeper. They met jabbu,s wife and advised her to encourage her husband to double his efforts . They continued to Mutono Wilson,s home he had completed his latrine construction by the use of good construction materials. They appreciated him so much and even advised him to share Lear with the neighbors. When they reached Byogero jenifers home , for her she had gathered all the construction materials in one place close to the latrine . She was also getting ready any time to start the construction work. They also continue to Lubale who had constructed his pit about 32 feet. He said he wanted it to make 40 feet deeper. They encouraged him a lot to use good stronger sustainable building materials for his latrine construction. In general out of the 32 homes the Kibo staff visited, they were improving. Except for the few homes which had the much need for improvements.
