- Tom made a visit to ibaraki village to meet with village leaders and discuss with them about Kibo’s plans of promoting sanitation and hygiene through the wash program.
Tom tried calling one of the village leaders Tom could not reach him.
When Tom reached the village, he inquired about the chairman’s home and one resident directed him. When Tom reached the home, the chairman was not present and Tom inquired about other villages and he was able to meet with the VHT.
Tom discussed with him about kibo and it’s programs as well as the WASH programs.
The vht thanked kibo and appreciated kibo for also prioritizing sanitation and hygiene in the village.
After the discussion the VHT requested that the meeting with other village leaders be postponed to another day and he said he would share the information with the chairman of the village.
Tom promised to call him and plan for another meeting.
