- Alex met with the village leaders and together moved to check on the sanitation standards in the village, checking on the musambya trees that were recently planted by the village. These trees were doing very well and people are very proud of their sanitation and hygiene status they have reached. The village leaders can’t just stop thanking Kibo group for encouraging the village to work together and attain the sanitation status they have now. The village leaders confess that their village had never been this clean. Kibo group has cleaned the village very well and everybody is proud of that. Alex checked the on the hand washing Jerrycans and all the Jerrycans had water in them and were being used. Alex continued to encourage all the leaders and the sanitation committee members to remain active and ensure the village sanitation standards do not decline. Alex then told the village leaders that Kibo group had some good news for the village that clean water will be provided to the village. They were extremely very happy to hear the good news. They were told to mobilize all the village people to come for a general meeting next week on Monday to officially introduce the water program in the village.
