Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement in that village. He walked around the section of the area of the trading center towards the lower section with the LC committee and the sanitation committee and in the section of homes near the upper borehole. Martin and the group was teaching and encouraging them about latrine constructions as well as the construction of other facilities like dish racks and encouraging them about the standardisation. Generally the community members have worked so hard on their home facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, shower areas and other sanitation facilities and others are still working. Martin and the group visited the homes to share with the residents about the value of sanitation and hygiene improvement and the importances of living in a good environment. The community members promised Martin that they have to work hard to complete their home facilities, because they have seen the value of the home facilities. They walked in 37 homes.
