Notes
Enock made a visit to this community to hold a general meeting which was planned to talk about the new project of roofing and buying iron sheets and engaging the community to contribute half of the money for the iron sheets. When Enock reaches the community, he first met with the local leaders to know where the meeting will take place and ask if they helped in mobilizing the whole community. During the meeting we had with the local leaders, they told me how they had well mobilized the community members to attend the meeting. After the committee members gave me sad new of the loss of there beloved one in the community and they are having a funeral. We had to console the meeting since most people where attending the funeral. We just discussed a few things concerning proper sanitation and standardization of all the facilities as well as encouraging the leaders to mobilize the community for the next meeting and also continue collecting money to buy iron sheets. The community members and leaders appreciate so much and embracing the program. Most people testify how they had poor sanitation in their community and how many people practiced open defecation. They are so proud to have a great change in their community and willing to improve on their sanitation levels. After the short meeting, we walked to the funeral to share the sorrow moment with all the residents and family which lost their beloved one before Enock came back to jinja.

Next Visit: 2019-09-28 - Purpose: To have a general meeting with the entire community and talk about challenges, benefits and progress of sanitation and hygiene in the community.
