- Alex B met twenty nine members about their registration of the group with the government. The chairperson of the group Kabale reported as he met their new sub county chief and yet is the acting CDO of Nawaikona ona Enoch. He went with the constitution for help as how to register with the District.He thought as he will get a recommendation letter from him to go to the District for registration. He was advised to do it with the sub county fast. Alex B advised them to fast register with lower level with the sub county.He told as groups are monitored or supervised mostly by sub county offices not the District. It is such offices that make recommendations to the district for any assistance. The government programs reach the registered groups through sub county offices. It is the link between the community and the district offices.It is always the sub county office that represent the community to the district. All the plans for village groups are received by the office of the sub county and then forwarded to district. When the group applies for any assistance from the central government,the still the sub county chief has be notified and give recommendation. He told them as it good also to register with the district. The members bought the idea sought register with the sub county fast. They were also reminded to find out how much money is charged for registration.
