Harriet,Jeska,Tape,Sarah,Chris,Kacie and Zac found the participants when they have already gathered at the meeting place. They had already gathered the materials required for building stoves for the two participants that the community had identified for stoves.
They were eager to receive kibo staff and received them with songs of joy and dancing.Harriet divided the group into two groups whereby each group to each home and was joined by kibo staff.
Each group led by kibo staff mixed the dirt with grass, cut banana stems stamped the dirt and built two demonstration stoves with little participation by the community members.Kibo staff built two stoves for the two homes as they explained the whole process.
At the end a small meeting was held where kibo staff encouraged them to stay working together and to ensure that they learn how to build stoves.
The group have six men who are active in the program and Harriet encouraged them to remain in the group and encourage more men to join.
The community thanked kibo for empowering them with skill and promised to remain working together and to ensure that every member in the group gets a stove.
