Notes
Suzan went to the village purposely to follow up on the maintenance of the program activities such as the stove usages, and the smearing of the buildings. However when she got there, she found a few members gathered at the meeting place who then informed her how there other members had gone out to the neighboring village after losing one of their elderly relatives. Suzan felt sad for their loss and suggested that they only discuss about the program achievements and challenges faced. Among the members were some committee leaders who began talking about some achievements, saying that most of them had repaired their stoves by sealing all the cracks and were now cooking on them. The members had also smeared all their buildings and rebuilt their dish racks while a few had not due to the heavy rains which had washed and destroyed their facilities. This was one of the challenges they were facing. But because of the time, the members present together with Suzan fixed a date on which they would meet again and carry out a monitoring process in order to check on the state of the facilities in each home at least. Suzan encouraged the members not to give up easily on maintaining their facilities for this would benefit them in their daily healthy lives. She also requested the leaders present to monitor their fellow members and make sure they improved on their facilities, and the meeting finally came to an end with a prayer from one of the members.
