Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on their progress on sanitation and hygiene. He went with the health inspector to check on their progress on sanitation and hygiene as well as sensitising them about trachoma. They walked around with the Chairman LC1, the health inspector who was happy to see some improvements on sanitation and hygiene in this village. His intention of this visit was to sensitise them about trachoma, so we walked around that section sensitising them that this disease can spread through poor sanitation and hygiene. Martin was also encouraging the community members about sanitation and hygiene. Even if their those who are still lagging behind, they are working , because they have worked so hard on their home facilities like latrine constructions dish racks, rubbish pits, shower facilities and hand washing. In the lower section, there were six latrines done and five hand washing facilities done.
