Notes
David and Steven were in the village . And their intentions of going there was to follow up on the different homes which had received the iron sheets some time. They did the follow up because they wanted to monitor and see if the village had made the good use of the sheets. Therefore when David and Steven were in the village they moved into the lower section of the village. Unfortunately some of the members had not yet roofed their houses . When the village members were asked they said that some of their latrines had collapsed due to the heavier rains and stronger winds. On that note the Kibo staff advised and encouraged the victims of the circumstances to reconstruct new ones if possible with better foundation base. Some of the members said ,that they will be trying to construct better ones using good construction materials. As the Kibo staff continued with their home to home movements they reached Namukasa,s home . Who is one of the most active member she showed them her dish rack which was a half constructed. However Namukasa said that her construction was halfway because of the continuous rains. David advised Namukasa to cover her dish rack as away of protecting it from the continuous rains. The Kibo staff left the village but they were not impressed with the way how the continuous rains had destroyed many of the different people’s latrines . They were planning to have a village meeting and see how the homes which were affected would be helped.
