- David and Steven were in the village. Their intentions of going there was to meet with the village leaders to assess the status of the borehole located at Buwongo primary school located with in Maliga village.That was after the request made through the water office in Namutumba district and the district water engineer requested Kibo group to intervene because the district had no funds for borehole repair . The school has a population of 700 kids and serves the community too. Currently these school kids are struggling so much and some of the homes too are water stressed. Therefore as David and Steven were in the village they were unfortunately because some community members and village leaders were away for a training which was taking place at the Nsinze sub county. However David and Steven left the sub county when they had scheduled to have a borehole general meeting next time when they hope everyone to be around in the village. The head teacher was asked to mobilize the parents of his school to attend this crucial meeting to pave way for how they can partner to repair their well. The community is required to raise 35% contributions towards their well repair before Kibo chips in the remaining balance.
