Ws Notes
David went to kasuleta village to follow on the borehole status as well as assessing on the hygiene standards of some of the different home .David moved to the borehole with mr balikowa Mohamed they found when the borehole fence was torn apart even the jerrycans at the borehole were dirty David asked mr Mohamed balikowa who used being active during the times when kibo were still too active in the village he told David that the reason was that they no longer have meetings in relationships with the full ownership and care of their borehole not forgetting the good required hygiene standards which were set by Kibo staff.David first ordered all the younger kids who were at borehole cleaning up their dirty jerrycans before they could get clean water from the borehole they did so after all that they moved to the caretakers home mis asanati,s she also reported the same issue of some committee members who were weaker.David suggested together with the caretaker and mr Mohamed balikowa the mobilizer moving in about twenty homes assessing the sanitation progress . They were able moving in about twenty homes but in the different homes they visited to there was less progress .Unfortunately of all the homes being visited was the home of the chairman of the village having the worst home hygiene facilities .David together with balikowa Mohamed and asanati in the different homes they moved to they kept on encouraging the owners of the homes reviving their hygiene standards to the required standards . They were able seeing only two home which had managed maintaining their hygiene standards for example mr kadulungu,s home and mis asanati, shome where there was great progress because in mr asanati,s home they found some good work of pit latrine construction in progress a-pit about thirty feet and above David thanked mr asanati and advised her using the right material for its construction .when they reached the treasurers home because David wanted to know how was the stand of their borehole account the treasurer showed David only 50000 shillings David continued advising them about continuing contributing for their borehole account and always having community hygiene and sanitation improvement meeting s . They concluded having seen that there was need for a meeting replacing weaker members by stronger members .the committee members said before next visit Kibo staff would meet anew good and stronger fence constructed at their borehole.
