The water user committee had become divided over issues concerning the committee position roles. The community members had also lost trust in the committee and some were hesitant to even pay money for their well contributions. The chairperson of the water user committee, Nabirye Called Alex requesting him to intervene in the situation. He realized that the committee members had forgotten their individual roles and responsibilities that each person has to play. All the committee members attended the meeting and Alex conducted a refresher training with all of them reminding them of their roles and responsibilities. The Money for the borehole contributions needs to be handled by the treasurer and not all the committee members to handle the money as this brings a lot of confusion and the rest of the village members can easily lose trust in the water committee. They concluded that the committee members should stay active and united to accomplish their roles and responsibilities. Also on a very good note, when Alex visited some homes in the lower part of the village, the village has tried to maintain their village sanitation standards and Alex kept encouraging all to maintain them. Another general meeting will be held to discuss how the village plans to maintain their sanitation standards collectively and take good care of their well. Kibo will plan to go back for a general to guide the community on how to maintain the village sanitation and encourage the village to continue working together even when Kibo is not present in their village.

The new Kibo well is still properly maintained and many of the homes have tried to maintain their hygiene and sanitation standards.

To continue staying with the water user committee reminding them of their roles and responsibilities. Also the village leaders will organize another meeting with all the community members together with Kibo staff to discuss the plans to maintain the village sanitation and hygiene standards
