caring for trees
Abraham met thirty two Kitukiro community members and the purpose was to care for the trees. They went around checking trees and they are all doing good because of the much rain which is raining in the area, they protected trees but some are have not yet made cages around them and they were advised to do so in order to protect the trees from animals. They came to the meeting place and Abraham tough them why the need to protect the trees from animals, the trees can be cut by someone or step on it or animals eat them during that stage then the will struggle to grow but if you protect it will grow without disturbances and it will be strong. One of the member said that there is a problem and that is why the chairperson was not around, he said that one time when they had a meeting it was chaired by Palageni because that day the chairperson was sick so he thought Palageni has taken his position. Abraham reminded them to be thinking what they can do as group together because it will be included in they constitution in the future. He advised the chairperson not to think that when Palageni chaired the meeting his position was taken, that was done because the chairperson was sick and to make the meeting running there must be someone to lead the meeting. He told them that he is going to come back and talk to Palageni and the chairperson so that they can know that want they are doing is to serve people not to think much about their positions.
