Notes
David and Steven went to ndalike village there intention of going there was to know the stand of their borehole which was not working during when Kibo staff last visited Kibo staff heard it from the healthy inspector of namwendwa sub county mr waiswa that they got some people who were not recognized by the sub county or the district that they helped them with the repair work by the time Kibo last visited that village the borehole was not working . The Kibo staff had concluded in the last meeting together with the residents of the village when the members were supposed contributing money towards their bore repair as well as improving on their hygiene standards .However in the corse of Kibo waiting for the village doing as they were told instead they received bad new from the healthy inspector mr waiswa of some fake organization in name of blue wave which pretends to help the different communities with the repairing of their boreholes instead they ends up punishing Gods people charging them lots of money forcing them to pay the charges in a bank. They told Kibo during the meeting that each year they were supposed paying 400000 shillings without fail whether the borehole breaks down or not.David the healthy inspector mr waiswa sensitized the community members strongly advised them reporting whoever attempts opening their borehole to the the Kibo office first or to the district water office and the sub county before any attempts opening their borehole.Unfortunately for them they allowed the fake people opening up of their borehole when David asked them what was the problem when those people had opened their borehole they said it was just a simple loose nut joining in between the two rods which could have been a simple thing just tightening the loose nut. They told Kibo staff together with mr waiswa how they were being punished paying lots of money about 400000 shillings every year. The Kibo staff together with mr waiswa told the residents not paying any more money once they report to them for more money,s let them first contact the sub county, the district water office kamuli and Kibo office too.For that reason they don’t even have any money on account for their borehole because whatever money they contribute it is being paid to the fake people.Generally on the side of hygiene and sanitation they are not all that bad apart from three homes which were noted having cases of open deification during the home to home movement by Kibo staff together with mr waiswa assessing the sanitation progress the Kibo staff during the meeting emphasized the committee members helping encouraging the three homes workings and improving on their home hygiene facilities and emphasized unity and respect of each other not forgetting always involving younger ones in the sanitation improvement campaign.
