Kibo staff arrived sefly at Nawaikona Primary School, to celebrate Life Skills exhibition day, this function was held at Nawaikona Primary School in Namutumba District, they were very happy to see pupils from Bukhana pupils already in that school. The Kibo staff went directly to the ten where they are to be seated, they remained seated for 45minutes then the function started. The colorful day started with the wards of prayer lead by area reverend, they sung Uganda and Busoga anthems , after that there was a communication from the area local council one followed by the local council two then also the two head teachers from different schools, after that pupils started performing their presentations. Pupils in Nawaikona Primary School sighted a poem entitled AIDS, after that Bukhana Primary School also did the same they also sighted a poem entitled who is AIDs and where did he comes from. All there presentation-was so educative to both pupils and the community members around. After-poem, pupils presented songs, Nawaikona Primary School pupils sung a song about the stigma, that people living with HIV should come out tell the community that they are HIV positive so that to reduce the spread of the virus in the Community while Bukhana pupils also sung a song appreciating the born of Kibo in the school and their lives as far as life skills program is concern. After that, there was a communication from two Kibo Life Skills teachers Manuela and Lorna, in their speech they were encouraging the school life skills teachers to continue with program so that the pupils who didn’t attend this year can also have chance of learning Life skills lessons as a program, they also encouraged the parents to be good example to their kids, Manuela urged the parents to listen to their children than forcing them to get married while still young. Manuela went on and encouraged the parents to continue coming for life skills lessons in the community, Lorna advised the pupils to make use of their skills that they acquired during this program. After that, pupils presented their local traditional dance in their local language. All their presentations was in line with what they have learnt during Life Skills program This involves lots dance and excitement among pupils and community members at large, this part of the function was so good, the two schools participated equally. They really cheered the community members and pupils around. After that, there came times for the Kibo country director to give a speech, mr. Henry started by appreciating the teachers and the pupils for embracing this program in their schools, he also appreciated the local leaders and community members for responding to the invitations sent to them, he went on and encouraged the pupils to utilize the Skills and knowledge that they have got during this program in their daily lives, he advised the pupils to focus on their studies so that to achieve their dreams, after that Henry and Manuela issued out certificates to the best performing pupils in the two schools. The pupils were awarded certificates and the Life skills peer educators burns, they were so happy to receive that , not only that the two schools were give a wLl clock with Kibo logo and the soccer balls with the pump. Finally, this exhibition was good what ever the pupils presented was so educative to all people. After all that, there comes times for lunch and departure of the visitors, pupils and the community members at large.
