Notes
David and Steven were in the village. And their intentions of going there was to have a village meeting. While they were in the village they first moved in about 22 homes . Out of the 22 homes they visited to, the Kibo staff were pleased with the many homes which had worked and improved on their latrine pits. They visited mr kapata goerge and Bawalane lsabirye for them they were constructing shelters around their pits. David and Steven also visited Bazibu who had dug an 18 feet deeper pit as well as muganza Edward who had also just started an eight feet pit. However they were all advised to improve on their sanitation facilities so first to prevent their facilities from being destroyed by the on going rains. Later they joined the rest of the other members were they had gathered waiting for them for the meeting. The meeting was aimed at how they would help those who had finished the digging of their pit. They all agreed as a village that most of them they saved some money in their village saving circles. Therefore they said that they will be using the money which they had saved to construct their latrines. They continued and decided that they will be forming up a pool as away of helping each other. David and Steven also emphasized more about the rightful sanitation standards of the different facilities. It was a good meeting because the Kibo staff thought that it would yield good results.. In general according to the hygiene and sanitation status of the entire village was improving.Except for the three homes of the widows whom the committee hopes to intervene in and help to improve their homes.
