- Harriet went to Kalitumba to follow up on smearing of the stoves, kitchens and other homes facilities. When she reached in the village she was welcomed by the Chairperson of group madam Dina who walked with her through the homes of participants. Interesting most people had smeared their facilities while others had started smearing theirs. They said since this is the first Christmas for them to cook on the fuel efficient stoves, they have already built the firewood risen stand in their kitchens for firewood storage to use during Christmas. She found some women busy smearing their home facilities, like the main houses kitchen, latrines and other facilities.They also added that it is their goal to ensure that every members facilities are well smeared before Christmas because they wanted to eat clean well cooked food cooked in a clean environment/ kitchen. Harriet encouraged them to maintain the teamwork spirit and leaving in a clean environment.
