- Notes
- Harriet found the participants waiting for her at the meeting place. The Chairperson of the group Samuel welcomed Harriet to the village and led an opening prayer thanked the lord who enabled her to travel to their village and asked them to lead them through the meeting.
Harriet asked the group on how is their plan to scale out to the neighboring communities. They also told her some people from the neighboring communities like Syanyonja have approached them asking them to help them and build for them stoves but they are wondering on how much to charge per stove.
Harriet told them that they need to sit as a group and discuss on the moderate price they should charge per stove. She also told them that they need to consider the participants level of income because if they charge a lot of money they may get very few people who may afford.
One of the participants suggested that they need to sit as group and suggest some members to go Syanyonja , find out how many people want stoves, bargain with them about the price for stove.
Harriet advised them that after finding out they need to come back to decide as a group on how many people should be sent in Syanyonja to build stoves on behalf of the group. This is because teamwork yields better results.
