- while in the village, Tom met with the drama group and discussed about the process of triggering as well as what message in the drama and songs that they need to communicate during the triggering session.
The drama group members said they have a drama about malaria and other diseases as well as songs.
Tom encouraged them to focus on the diseases caused by poor sanitation and hygiene as well as on how to prevent them through sanitation and hygiene improvements. One of the leaders of the drama group said they were going to change some of the songs to focus on diarrhea as well as other related diseases.
Tom also encouraged them to have some songs that residents can dance to to make the crown engaged and happy.
Tom also continued with the emphasis of encouraging the leaders of the village to continue with the mobilization to make sure that the residents know the day as well as the meeting place.
After meeting the drama group together, Tom and the village leaders moved around the village in homes from the trading center telling them about the meeting and requesting them to also encourage other residents to also attend.
After Tom left for jinja.
