- Naibowa has lately faced some challenges with the rains that pour every day making the sanitation program so slow, however there were still some people that have tried to do something in their homes since all the village people had agreed to have met all their sanitation standard levels before Christmas during the last time they had a village meeting. Alex together with two people on the sanitation committee, moved to check on the sanitation status in the homes and the hand washing construction in the homes. On a very bad note some of the homes have again lost their sanitation and hygiene facilities due to the heavy current rains. But on the other hand some homes have managed to maintain their sanitation standards and the number of hand washing stations has increased. Alex gave out hand washing Jerrycans to all the homes that had constructed their hand washing stands. In total about 30 homes have completed construction of these stands and Alex continued to encourage all the people to improve and maintain their sanitation facility standards and all those that had lost some of the facilities were encouraged to replace them fast. Some people have the fear to dig new pits because of the soft soils that may easily sink and have resorted to wait when the rains reduce. WASH team will continue to sensitize and encourage the village to construct long lasting facilities in the year 2020.

- The village sanitation committee to continue encouraging all the village residents to maintain their sanitation facilities during this Christmas holiday after some of the facilities were affected by the current rains. Also to continue encouraging homes that have not yet constructed their hand washing stations to do so during this festive season
