Notes
Martin and Enock went to Mpumiro, they walked around in that village with the Chairman LC1, LC2 and the parish chief. Their intention was to check on those homes, their sanitation facilities was effected by the heavy rain. The group was encouraging the residents about the standards and maintenance, because they saw that, those facilities which was destroyed, it was due to poor standards and maintenance. Because of the heavy rain taking place in that village, those who are still digging their new pit latrines, they decided to sacrifice and get money for buying bricks and cement for constructing them and other facilities like kitchens and shower areas. Kibo staff told the village leaders that even if their heading to Christmas days, they are praying for their village, and they requested them to continue encouraging the residents about their sanitation facilities. The community members decided that it is going to be a long holy day, so they promised the group that they are going to work hard on sanitation facilities. The group walked in 46homes
