- Martin went to Mpumiro, he walked around with Chairman LC1 and the VHTs, to check on the sanitation constructions in that village. Good enough the big number of homes have worked on their sanitation facilities like digging the new pit latrines and others are constructing them and the shower areas. For those who are still working on their sanitation facilities like constructing their new latrines, kitchens and shower facilities, the group was encouraging them about the standards and maintenance, to make their facilities strong and clean. The reason why kibo always encourage the residents about the standards and maintenance, because we need them to construct the facilities that can stay longer and help them for a long time. Generally according to what is there, the community members in that village are willing to work on their sanitation facilities. And because it’s a new year, the group was encouraging them to work hard on their sanitation facilities like latrines, kitchens, rubbish pits,dish racks and shower areas. Kibo is also willing to work with that community. And Martin was so happy to hear from the village leaders just appreciating kibo for the work going on in that village. The group walked in 36homes.
