Notes
The chairperson of the group Mr.Kisira Martin asked the members each to give to a brief report a bout the goats that was given to members. The members almost all gave good reports about their goats as most of them have given birth and some are promising. There was one member Miss.Namugwere Beatrice who said that her husband sold her goat without her consent. The leaders happened to know it before the goat was bought and they tried to discuss with the buyer, but he wanted interest on the Money he paid to buy the goat. During the meeting some members said that, it was her responsibility to see that what was given to her should kept secure. The few also said it was needful to talk to the husband about the things of the group through the Lc1 of their village. They managed to talk to the husband who had not yet used all the money to pay back the goat. The husband said that he sold the goat because he wanted to pay school fees for his children. He sold the goat at 135,000/= and the buyer wanted more money if he was to give them back the goat about 165,000/=.
Namugweres husband was able to refund 110,000/= back to the group.
Alex B told the members to work for developmental of their families, community and their group. He asked the members to love one another and even if they have some misunderstanding to solve them in love bearing in mind that they need one another .He asked the members both ladies and husbands always to put things right before it is known to the group members. He reminded them of the scenario of the one family related to so many members of the group ,the husband could beat the wife to the point that she lost some of her teeth. Alex B told them fighting is not a solution to solve misunderstanding in their homes but it is better to talk or discuss about it until an answer or solution is got.He also told them to know where to report their matters for the good of their families and the group. Alex B about the goat that was sold by the husband told them from now on those that there husbands are not members of the group, the leaders of the group with the Lc1 can to talk them about the programs of their group.
The members then decided that they will buy Mis Namugwere a goat worth 110,00/- although it will not be like the one Kibo bought her.
