Notes
Martin went to Kishaike, he walked around with the Chairman LC1, parish Chief and the VHTS, to check on the sanitation improvement in that village. They have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrines, rubbish pits, dish racks, kitchen and shower areas. Due to the heavy rain, sanitation facilities like latrines, kitchens and shower facilities, which was not constructed in a good standards was destroyed by the heavy rain. So the group was encouraging them about replacing them in a good standard and maintenance. To make them strong, so that they can help them for a long time and to avoid the replacement every time. Because kibo’s intention is to encourage everyone in that village to have all the facilities. Good enough others have started replacing their facilities, because they have been using them for sometime, and they have seen the value of them. And the group was encouraging them to work even on other sanitation facilities like those who have not constructed their dish racks and hand washing stands. The community members promised the group that they are going to work hard on their facility replacement and others. Because they have seen the value of kibo, and they are requesting that after completing those facilities, if they is another program, they are willing to work with kibo. Because of their hard working kibo also is willing to work with them.
