Program: Healthy and Safe Kitchens
Notes: Harriet and Jeska had planned to discuss with the community the goals and objectives of the Healthy and Safe kitchen program in igerera village. They even made phone calls to the village local leader Mr. Kamya who confirmed that the meeting will take place. They reached at the meeting place and barely found people gathered , they decide to wait but only a few people turned up. This forced Kibo staff to ask the few participants to tell them where the rest of the participants were because were not at the meeting place.They told them that they were an abrupt meeting at the mosque whereby the Some Arabs had called them that they want to meet that at the mosque because they have a plan of building for them a mosque. Since most people in Igerera B are Moslems had gone to mosque to wait for the visitors who were coming. Kibo staff had very few participants at the meeting who were none moslems thus hard to teach a very small group of people that may require her to reteach. By consensus the few participants agreed for the meeting to be postponed to the following week.
