- Notes
- Tape made a surprise visit to Ituba Namalowe and this was intended to follow up on stove usage especially on the few homes that were found cooking on the three stones along side the fuel efficient stove.
She walked with one of the group members called Kagoya to different homes that got stoves. Interestingly she found most people cooking on their stoves on daily basis whereby she found some food cooking by self or children cooking food when their parents were away.
Also as far as smearing is concerned some people have started smearing their facilities and those who lacked firewood risen stands for firewood storage .
Tape also encouraged and reminded those who had not smeared their facilities todo so. Also there are cases of some people who had constructed firewood risen stands for firewood storage but lacked wood. Tape reminded them to store wet wood on the firewood risen stands that will dry later and they will be able to use during time of scarcity especially during a rainy season.
