Martin went to Mpumiro, he walked around with the Chairman LC1, LC2 and the VHTs. Their intention was to check on the sanitation improvement and to encourage the residents to work on their sanitation facilities in that village. When they was walking around in that village, they saw that the community members have worked on their latrine constructions. Unfortunately they are collapsing because they have not constructed in a good way and better standard. So the group decided to encourage them about the standards and maintenance to make those facilities strong and clean And also they need more encouragement about working hard on their sanitation facilities. The village leaders promised to to encourage the community members to work hard on their sanitation facilities, because they are the one responsible to encourage the community members to work on their sanitation facilities. The group decided to have a general meeting in this month with the community members in that village, to discuss how they increase the speed to work on their sanitation. Because the big number of homes have worked on their pit latrines, but others are constructing them and others have are not and others are replacing those facilities which was destroyed by rain, but they are slow. So in that meeting we are going to see how they can speed up that work. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 37homes.
