- Notes
- Abraham met thirty three Sinde community members and the purpose was to discuss how they will be caring on their loan towards members in the group.
The chairman Mr Okecho told the meeting that they have been thinking about contributing money and loaning those who can bring back with small interest. They thought of the money they collect for repairing their bore hole in case it breaks down which is just kept but if they can give that money to someone who can bring back the money with the interest which will help them get money which the bank will be cutting.
They said that they collected some money and bought plastic chairs which are helping them on burial ceremonies and they are renting them to some people and that money is kept by the treasurer of the group.
Abraham advised them not to touch money that they collected for repairing their bore hole because if the bore hole breaks down they can not again go to people to contribute. Some people may take long with paying back the group loan and that may delay the repair of the well and the members will be mad.
They have to give loans from the money they are going to contribute as a saving because it is easy someone to understand it.
They have at least to visit some groups who are giving out loans and get some advice from them and more knowledge how they will do it
