- Alex B met fifty one members of Bulyowa B about how the development and self progress of the group. Also advise them about their saving and loaning scheme.To discuss with them about the group projects they are doing and also advise them accordingly.
The chairperson of the group Mr.Mpata James reported that the members that planted trees were forty five. They received each a goat from the kibo group .The living trees are doing good.The members each took back offspring in form of money(50000=)fifty thousands Uganda shillings.They had a chicken project and group saving which was (sh.3300000=)
The money that was taken back to general as offspring from the goats,members decided to be given back to members to make business out of it for personal development. The money they contributed and from garden project and loaning mounted to (sh.3300000) and now is with members as loans. They wanted to loan to outside people of the group. The have a projection of having sh .7000000= by the end of 2020.
The group has hired two acres of land at sh.160000 for next season.They want to plant groundnuts.They are ready to contribute money for the seeds.
One of the members known as Inviri out of his goats got a cow. Mpata James sold his and bought one acre of land and one member reported that already she has seven goats worthy a cow.
Alex B discovered out that the group has more money but they lack security about it.The money is always kept by the treasury which is a risk for the group.He also found out that loaning people that are not members of the group as they proposed was also not good.This is because there is also security for them being given the loan. The amount of the money in the group is increasing to be kept with that treasury in the house. He advised them to begin of thinking keeping their money more secure with the bank. The issue of loaning none members,he advised them the security they provide before being given the money. Also to create a document that has to be filled by the person asking for the loan and the guarantee.
Margaret Kiyuba on behalf of the group requested for help to more about the benefits of the group bank account. The members were grateful for the advise and promised to work more to develop the group.
