Martin went to Igerera A, he walked around with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the sanitation improvement in that village. The reason why kibo always work with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members, because they are the easiest people to them in the village, and to work with. Generally the community members have worked hard on their latrine constructions, others are still digging them. Like Ngobi Patilisi he constructed a new latrine and it’s roofed, Isilaili Bogele, he constructed a new latrine and a dish rack, which is so good, Wumalu Gonele, dug a new pit latrine 26ft deep and it’s under construction. And for those who have worked on their latrine constructions, the group was encouraging them about maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies, which can cause diseases like malaria and others. For those who are still digging their new pit latrines, the group was encouraging them about the depth. And for those who are constructing their new pit latrines, the group was encouraging them about the standards, to make their home facilities strong. They have not constructed their dish racks, because kibo staff promised to go and teach them about the moveable dish racks. And they preparing to go and teach about it. Because of the work going on in that village, the village leaders promised to work with kibo, to encourage the community members to work on their sanitation facilities. And kibo also is willing to work with that community as well as the village. As kibo is still working with that village, the group walked in 40homes.
