A lot of sanitation facilities for example dish racks,shower areas,rubbish pits, and hand washing facilities have been constructed and some members were noted to have started paying towards their borehole account.

Village Notes
They have tried their best towards the spraying of their homes with the case of bed bags but they have failed to prevent them. Therefore Kibo staff advised them to smear all their houses and kitchens and also avoid living in dirty environments.

The old committee water user committee members were given three weeks acting as leaders of the water users committee and after that grace period Kibo will be together with the community helping them to select a new active committee. 
Ws Notes
David and Steven went to Nawampiti village to continue encouraging the residents to work and improve on their sanitation facilities and also encouraging them to contribute money towards their borehole account. They divided themselves into two ,David and the chairman of the borehole mr Kagawa Wilson moved in the west side of the village and Steven and the adviser mr mwanja Nelson to the east of the village. They moved in about sixty homes however they noted the following in quite a good number of homes they visited. They noted that, there was great Improvement because they were able to see a lot of new sanitation facilities like dish racks,shower areas, hand washing facilities,rubbish pit s and some old kitchens which were being maintained and improved. They moved home to home encouraging the residents to double their efforts towards improving on their sanitation standards and in the sixty homes they moved to they only saw one person a youth TIbita who was a new member in the community and did not have any of the facilities. They advised him to dig a new good Latrine and stop using his neighbours toilet and also his neighbour mr mwota gave him one week to finish his own latrine. Generally in nawampiti village, there is great progress as far as hygiene and sanitation improvement are concerned. They told David that they were having 30000 shillings as their borehole contribution. In the different homes they moved to they kept on encouraging them also to contribute towards their borehole account.The community members told David as they were walking home to home about the weakness between some of the water user committee members who were weak and not doing their job well. For that reason the entire community gave them three weeks as committee members and later they would elect some active members within the community with a good heart of serving their community effectively. They also visited mr mwanja peters home a model home in the village but unfortunately he wasn’t there as he had gone to nsinze sub county for a farmers training. They wanted to talk to his wife to help teach the other ladies during Kibos absence in the village.
