Notes
Alex B met thirty nine members of Bupaluka about the tips how to benefit from personal saving and pay their bills. The chairperson of the group Saul reported that members are hoping to again to have a garden project. They want to plant maize or groundnuts basing on the finances they will contribute. Alex B advised the members since they opened a group bank account to make personal saving. The saving could be done on every day they meet as a group. He told them to be a commitment for everyone. The money that is saved as personal can help them to meet bills in time . School fees for their children will be paid in time to avoid children being asked to go home for money. The group will able to plan for the projects to be done since they know how much money is with the treasury. The project of the group garden will be easily financed in terms of labour, hiring land, seed and even when spraying is needed. Peter one the members suggested that even members will be able to meet medical bills for their families. He urged them to save any amount of money for other development like personal business. Members as individuals can have projects that will help them to boost the group projects. They promised to start small business that will help them to make saving and earn a living.
