Irene went to maliga to teach about the intestinal worms, the different types and how the worms get to our bodies. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the members the meaning of intestinal worms. Ida said they are small insects that make funny noise in the stomach, Maria said they are threadlike animal that get into our bodies through eating without washing hands. Different members contributed and Irene was happy that though not clearly stated the members had a clear view of the lesson to be taught.
Irene then asked the members the different types of worms that enter our bodies, Naikoba said they are long, thin, yellow in color and come out in the stool. She used that to explain around worm, scovia said they have a big head with finger like things, that explains the hook worm. Then with different examples irene explained the different worms.
Then after the members discussed on how the worms enter our bodies and with different views the members got an understanding on how the worms enter our bodies then next time Irene suggested that they discuss on the different signs of intestinal worms.
