Irene went to Nabikenge village to meet the village leaders in order to discuss the way forward for the health education lessons in their village and to follow up on the ministry of health’s guidelines in their community. Irene asked the members to remind themselves about the guidelines and each member was asked to mention one guideline, encouraged the members to keep using the masks especially when in crowds, washing Hands frequently, and other measures. Irene also asked members to ask questions related to the current situation and what they don’t understand about the virus. Segonga the chairman asked why are children below 5 years not given masks? , Margret asked how long does the virus take to die especially when in the air, Isabirye asked why the virus affects mostly the elderly especially those with illnesses? And many questions that made the meeting so interactive and more educative to the community members. Irene then asked the chairman to call the district and ask more about their gathering and also inform other community members to follow the guidelines.
