Notes
Martin and Steven went to lgerera A, they walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the new sanitation facilities, which was constructed in the long period of the lockdown because of the Covid 19. Good enough the big number of homes have constructed them especially latrine constructions, and hand washing stands. Because when the Government started announcing about how they can prevent Covid 19, the most useful method to control the virus, is to wash the hands with soap and water. So the village leaders, VHTS and the sanitation committee members was so happy for kibo to go back to their village, to continue encouraging them about sanitation facilities and washing their hands. The village leaders promised kibo, that they are willing to put much emphasis on sanitation facilities like latrine constructions and hand washing stands. To prevent some diseases like malaria, diarrhea, typhoid plus Covid 19, which is putting much pressure on the hall world. Generally the community members are willing to work on their sanitation facilities like Samuel Wakabi constructed a strong new latrine 30ft deep, two rooms with bricks and cement, Isiko Denis and Mwaga Rojas, dug a new pit 25ft deep to their Father and they promised to construct it in two weeks and Kulaba Asuman also promised to construct a new pit 30ft deep in two weeks. According to their had working, kibo also willing to work with that village.
