Notes
Abraham and Balamu Mukasa met seven Bukoma C community leaders and the purpose was to discuss how they are going to be meeting in this Coronavirus distancing. They reached a little bit late because the got stuck twice on the road because of bad roads, they met the LC1 chairman who had other responsibilities opened the meeting and he left us to continue but he suggested that they will have small groups called cell groups to maintain social distancing during the meeting. Abraham told them that other groups are also doing the same because they do not want to leave no one behind. The leaders said they are going to form those groups and let Abraham know if they will be meeting different days or one day in different locations. The purpose of taking Balamu Mukasa was to encourage the leaders because they also started like them and now they are a step forward. Mr Balamu Mukasa thanked the group for the effort they have put in plastering houses of the members and he asked the leaders how each can see. The First Lady said she can see forty kilometers. A man said that he can see one hundred miles. The last man said he can see two hundred miles. Then he asked him if they have ever seen the sun and all said yes and he asked them how far from the earth to the sun, Abraham told them that it is Nighty three million miles from the earth to the sun. He told the leaders that they are seeing so far but they did not know and now Kibo Group has come to open their eyes to see far. He talked about them planting crops that can give them income when they will be old like cocoa and the members are interested in growing it. They said they will visit Balamu Mukasa’s home and learn more about growing cocoa.
