Notes
Martin went to lgerera A, he walked around with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTs, to check on those homes who are still working on their home facilities like latrines, kitchens, rubbish pits, shower areas and hand washing stands. Good enough when they were walking around that village some homes were working on their new facilities like Kailu Nuwa was digging the new pit latrine it’s now 18ft deep, Kawanguzi Salimu digging a new pit latrine it’s now 15ft deep, Kailu Christopher’s new kitchen it’s still under construction, William Batala promised to construct the new dish rack in one week, Kulaba Asuman dug a new pit latrine 25ft deep, he promised to construct it in two weeks and Frank Muyinda also promised construct the shower area in one week. Even if they promised, but the group was still continuing to encourage them about the standards, maintenance and smearing to make them strong and clean. And the community members told the group that they are willing to work on their sanitation facilities, because those who are having them, they have seen the value of them. According to what is going on in that community as well as the village, kibo staff is willing to continue working with that village. And due to Covid 19 and other diseases like malaria, diarrhea and typhoid, the group was encouraging them about hand washing stands, to continue washing their hands. Because that is the only way how the community members can prevent the diseases. The group walked in 32homes.
