Notes
Tape and Suzan went to the village to follow up on the construction of the high raised firewood storages and the smearing of the buildings. When they reached there, they found some group members at the meeting place who warmly welcomed them to the village. The members together with Kibo staff discussed about the previous activities that were taking place in the village such as smearing their houses and roofing their kitchens. Later after they got up and began walking around the village visiting home to home while checking on the facilities. Some members had not yet constructed the firewood storages saying that they hardly found enough time to look for stronger logs because they spent most of their time in the gardens uprooting their ground nuts. About three members managed to smear their houses which really looked very neat as well as their stoves. Other members needed to seal off the cracks which were all over their stoves. Kibo staff encouraged the members to always find time and improve on their facilities for it would enable them live a happy healthy life with their families. They thanked Kibo for the advice and lessons taught, promising to do so when they got time and the meeting came to an end.
