Abraham met six community leaders and the purpose was to discuss with small groups how they are going to get the chicks for their group project. The chairman LC1 told Abraham to emphasize on wearing masks because he has tried but even the leaders on the council don’t believe in wearing masks giving reasons that there is no one had died. The chairperson of the group Mss Nabirye told the meeting that they have the money to buy one hundred chicks first because they agreed as a group that they need to start slowly as they see the market will be. Abraham thanked the leaders for the good work they are doing and he gave one mask to the chairman LC1 to put on for the first time and show that they need to put on masks especially when they are going in public places like hospitals, markets, burials and taking public transport. He told them that everything is in their hands because if one gets sick then his family where he she has visited they all go into quarantine and ever it is not good to learn in a hard way. He encouraged them to continue meeting in small groups because they don’t want to leave anyone behind. They said they are now going to prepare for the chicks and the feeds, also they will send some members to go to Kamuli town and check on the bank they want to open a group account.
