Mvule Community Development
Abraham met eight Kigalama community members and the purpose was to discuss about the money which the members contributed but they don’t know if the treasurer is still having and what to do with that money.
The chairman of the group thanked Kibo for going back to check on them and he said since they got a new secretary the former secretary did not hand over the group documents to the new one.
They tried to tell him to hand over the documents but he refused and that is the big problem, he said that they collected some money as a group and that money is with the former secretary but still up to now they do not know how much they collected because the former secretary is the one with list of members.
The current secretary Mr Waiswa told the meeting that he is a secretary without the group documents because they would like to go and renew their certificate and they can not give you a new certificate without the old one.
That is why the group can not go forward.
Abraham asked them why the former secretary left and they said that he is the one who wanted to leave the group that because he was having a nursery school and they said that may be if Abraham can go with some leaders to pick the group documents from the former secretary.
Abraham encouraged the leader to go back and tell Mr Peter that next week on Friday they will pick the group documents from him.
The leaders agreed the suggestion and they said they are willing to do it.
2020-08-14 - Purpose: To go with the group leaders to pick group documents from the former secretary and discuss the way forward of the group.
